Program of Accelerated Learning (PAL) - Graduates

The first program of its kind in the UAE Banking sector, Emirates NBD's Program for Accelerated Learning (PAL) enables UAE National graduates to join a comprehensive, in-depth program for professional and personal development and growth, to prepare them for a variety of Assistant Manager and officer roles in the bank.

In this six month intensive program, PAL trainees receive thorough training in management and leadership skills delivered in a practical and interesting way.

The program also includes banking systems and products training, Presentation Skills, Management Development Program which includes Delegation Skills, Motivation Theories, and Coaching & Counseling.

Al Shehab - Diploma Holders

The Al Shehab Program is a six month program designed for Diploma Holders or High School graduates with prior experience to prepare them for roles that include Supervisors, Team Leaders or Retail Banking Executives. The Al Shehab Trainees are trained in supervisory and first line leadership skills.

Courses include: Banking Operations, Selling & Cross-Selling, Retail Sales & Service Management, and Principles of Business Writing.

Al Misha'al Program - High School Graduates

The Al Misha'al program is a three month training program designed to train high school graduates who wish to join Emirates NBD in key front line positions such as Tellers and Customer Service Executives. Besides job-specific knowledge, the program is designed to develop the trainees' communication skills and English language, and the ability to work in teams with good working habits.

The Al Misha'al program equips new trainees with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to make a successful career with Emirates NBD. Courses include: English for Banking, Branch Simulation, and Delivering Excellent Customer Service.

Recruitment Process

Emirates NBD's recruitment policy and process ensures that all candidates are provided with equal opportunities to secure a position within the bank; provided they adhere to the bank's stated policy on candidates' selection.

Depending on the position you apply for, you may be asked to go through an assessment centre comprising of ability and psychometric tests to identify your potential and job fit. This is in addition to structured interview.
